Colossos* is a hybrid parthenocarpic Dutch/English cucumber, with a very strong open plant and dark green leaves. It produces uniform, straight, dark green fruit of excellent quality. The fruit does not tend to make a neck during periods of heat or cold stress. Colossos* has a very good disease package, offering high resistance to Cucumber vein yellowing virus (CVYV), Cucurbit yellow stunting disorder virus (CYSDV) and Powdery mildew (Px) as well as intermediate resistance to Corynespora blight and target spot (Cca) and Scab and gummosis (Ccu).
