Thunder is Sakata’s new watermelon variety that has been launched this year. These photos were taken in the Vredendal area, Western Cape. Thunder did not disappoint, giving high yields of very uniform fruit. The internal quality is excellent, with very firm, deep red flesh with excellent flavour.
