Nativa carrots for sweet success

Jun 7, 2017 | General

Carrot Nativa is well known for its high quality, very uniform and smooth roots with its dark orange internal and external colour.  Anton Saaiman from Bainsvlei, Bloemfontein experienced these exact qualities when his Nativa crop were harvested in early May.  He also mentioned that Nativa has an exceptional sweet taste and that the carrots reached maturity in less than 3 months.

Nativa is a F1 hybrid carrot for warm season production (summer to early autumn sowing) and is very early maturing.  Nativa has high resistance to nematodes.
