On Thursday, 23 May 2024, Sakata Seed Southern Africa hosted an incredible Local Farmers Day on the premises of WD Seedlings in Tzaneen.
Local growers had the opportunity to see our Sakata varieties up close, including varieties such as the impressive Nairobi* F1 Hybrid cauliflower, Pathfinder F1 Hybrid Hot Pepper, the NEW Chaak* F1 Hybrid habanero hot pepper, and our popular tomato varieties, Emerald and SVTE8444 F1 hybrid determinate saladettes.
Following in the footsteps of Emerald and SVTE8444, some new varieties we trialed and displayed, which added to the excitement of the day. More information about these varieties to come!
