2022 has been the year of the green bean, with record prices and excellent yields in the big production areas across South Africa. Planting the right variety for your market is also part of the success, as with all vegetables.
Nu Harvest, located in Lanseria, can testify to the excellent results that they have obtained from Sakata bean varieties, year after year. They have planted two varieties this year, and on these photos Brian can be seen with Carmen Meyer, our bean product specialist, and of course GOUTI, one of our green bean varieties with the most comprehensive disease package and excellent pod quality.
