Dulce Nectar at Adelaide Boerdery, Nwanedi

Dulce Nectar is a Honeydew type melon.  Due to its large size and vigorous plants, the variety is suitable for planting through winter in frost free areas.  These pictures were taken at Adelaide Boerdery in the Nwanedi region in Limpopo.  They were extremely happy with the variety, commenting that it gives a very good size and excellent yield through winter.   According to the farm manager, buyers on the fresh produce market has selected Dulce Nectar as one of their varieties of choice due to the excellent flavour and taste.
