Cherokee Sweet Peppers

Jan 6, 2022 | General

Did you know that sweet peppers contain even more vitamin C than oranges? Keeping your immune system up and running in these times is very important, so filling up on healthy veggies is the way to go! Cherokee is a sweet pepper variety that is part of the Sakata range, and performs very well in most of the climatic areas around South Africa.

On these photos Andre Veenstra can be seen in one of his Cherokee fields. Cherokee is a high yielding green to red pepper, that can be grown under protection or in the open field. The fruits harvested are of excellent quality and very uniform.

Thank you Andre for contributing to a healthy nation. We wish you all the best for the season to come!
