Growing cabbage is not an easy task, but at least marketing of cabbage is easy if your end produce looks like this!
On these photos Karel Murray from Groen Genade Boerdery in Brits, North West, can be seen holding Conquistador II heads. This crop was planted on the 16th of July and harvested on the 28th of October. For a cabbage crop coming out of winter, 108 days to harvest is exactly where you want to be.
Conquistador II’s outstanding qualities include:
- Large white cabbage
- Very adaptable
- Excellent uniformity in the field
- Very vigorous and uniform seedlings
- Very good holding ability
