BRITS FARMERS’ DAY 23 FEB 2023

Mar 12, 2023 | General

On the 23rd of February 2023, after several months of planning and growing some of our most popular varieties as well as our latest additions to the Sakata vegetable seed range, we hosted our Brits Farmers’ Day at Green Grace Farms, Brits, North West.

At Sakata, we strive to expose our genetics to real farming conditions. In that way, we can give the best possible advice to farmers. By hosting this farmers’ day, we showcased to our local clients in and around Brits how well certain varieties of Sakata perform in their area.

Sakata displayed over 65 different varieties overall. Crops such as beans, butternuts, hot peppers, tomatoes, sweet peppers, cabbages and brinjals were showcased at the farmers’ day.

“It’s an honour to host events like this and to stay connected with your growers and their needs, as well as their challenges in the field.” – Jan-Louis Bezuidenhout, Sakata Commercial Sales Manager

A big thanks to all the farmers who attended the event and continue to support Sakata Seed Southern Africa.
