Feb 22, 2019 | General

Ginger McKenzie, from Boston in KwaZulu Natal, is one of many farmers in South Africa that will be including Ares* broccoli in his planting programme from this season onwards.  Over the past few seasons many trials have been done, that focused specifically on varieties that will be best suited to the different sowing slots.

In this photo Ginger proudly boasts Ares* in its final production stage, already pre-packed. According to Ginger: “Ares* is by far the broccoli variety that yields the best quality product at the end of an extremely challenging summer season.”
