NTOKOZO DUKE’S FIRST JOURNEY WITH SUPERSLAM CABBAGE

Sep 29, 2022 | General

We have said it many times before, but it is such an important message that it should be repeated as often as possible. Selecting the right variety to be planted on your farm is a very important step in the farming process, but it is only one of many steps and decisions that will eventually lead to a successful crop.

This is a testimonial that we are particularly proud of! Ntokozo Dube and his team at Mahamba Palms had very little background knowledge of farming when they tackled this project. We had to meet weekly to discuss everything from fertilization and spraying programs to planting practices and watering. They decided to commit, even though the unpredictable weather caused this crop to only be ready to harvest almost a full month later than what we initially planned on.

Mr. Dube and his team learned that there are so many uncontrollable factors that affect your crop's performance but that the controllable factors should be managed with the best possible precision and care.

Well done on producing a beautiful 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗟𝗔𝗠 cabbage crop, team! We are so proud of what you've achieved and hope that this is the first of many contributions to our country's food security.
