Duster is a mid-season short day variety with uniform globe-shaped bulbs. One of the outstanding qualities of Duster is the firmness of the bulbs and multiple attractive brown tunics. This year it was proven again as excellent quality was obtained from Duster in commercial fields in Douglas, Northern Cape. This variety has resistance to pink root and Fusarium basal rot ensuring high yield in the midst of high disease pressure.
