Optima – Abjaterskop

Jan 22, 2021 | General

One of the biggest challenges that South African growers face when producing cabbages is blackrot (Xanthomonas) infection. This is one of the reasons why Optima has become a household name with these growers. Optima has excellent blackrot tolerance, as well as producing great quality large heads that the South African consumer loves. On these photos, Optima can be seen at Abjaterskop.

This was a particularly challenging season, so from our side here at Sakata we would like to say "Well done"! This is an excellent crop that you can be proud of. Thank you for all the hard work you do for our beautiful country.
