Optima – Heinrich Heine

Jan 18, 2021 | General

Heinrich Heine from Weenen, KwaZulu-Natal, has been growing Optima cabbage for six years now. Here he can be seen in some of his Optima fields, still as satisfied as when he first started planting this variety. In an area known to have high black rot pressure, it is important to pick a variety that has resistance to this disease.

Optima has an excellent disease package, perfectly suited to South African summer cabbage production. Well done Heinrich, keep up the good work.
