In vegetable farming, size really does matter! It is important to be sure you pick the correct variety, one that suits your end product requirements. Even though subsistence farming relies on the "bigger is better" concept, pre-pack markets require products that will fit into a predetermined pack size.
Sometimes a products' size can be manipulated by playing around with planting densities or harvesting periods. Sometimes it is necessary to plant a different variety that will yield a specific size end product. Be sure to specify your customers needs when talking to a representative about our varieties.
