Twister was selected by Sakata for its exceptional wrap and ability to withstand extreme heat. Excellent head quality and white curds were obtained on a farm in Grootsorgfontein, Western Cape, even though the area has been struggling with extreme drought as well as fluctuating temperatures.
The farmer is planting for the pre-packing market and could send high quality product with confidence, in a season where cauliflower production is difficult.
