Sampson stands strong in the Free State

Jun 7, 2018 | General

Pumpkin, Sampson keeps up to its name as a very strong, vigorous grower.  Pumpkin producer, Kobus Jooste from Kresby (Pty) Ltd. Doringdraai Koppies in the Free State can vouch for this.  Kobus is still very satisfied with the outstanding quality of Sampson and with an average yield of 1400 bags per ha, this producer definitely did not complain.  Sampson can be planted in summer and winter growing regions and has the ability to be stored for up to 6 months or even longer under normal storage conditions.
