The good rains that the northern parts of the country received over the past few months created huge relieve for the agricultural industry. The rains were also in time for the annual Lowveld Bass Trail that kicked off at Vygeboom Dam in February where Sakata once again sponsored some hampers to some of the teams.
At the time of the competition the dam was 100% full with a record attendance of 48 boats. Sakata’s sponsored team, the Alligators, finished ninth in this first round of the competition and we wish them luck for what is yet to come in 2017.
