Silverado

Outstanding Qualities

  • Dark green colour
  • Good bolting resistance
  • Slower growing
  • Wide adaptability

Silverado is a later maturing swiss chard variety (when compared to Fordhook Giant) with very good bolting resistance. Leaves have a dark green glossy colour and leaves are very savoy. Petioles are white and thinner than the normal Fordhook Giant. Silverado takes 60 – 65 days to mature after seedling transplant. Plants are very uniform.

Special Varietal Requirements
