SV 6621* Green Batavia Lettuce

OUTSTANDING QUALITIES

  • LIGHT GREEN COLOUR
  • DENSE HEADS
  • UNIFORM HEADS
  • EXTREMELY SLOW TO BOLT

SV 6621* a green Batavia type lettuce, is a new addition to the Sakata speciality lettuce range. SV 6621* has a light green colour and a very dense rosette. Extremely slow to bolt and holds well in the field. The small attachment of the leaf allows for longer shelf life. Can be used for year-round production in mild climatic conditions. The variety is very adaptable and can be planted in all production areas. Takes 45 to 55 days to mature after transplanting seedlings. The arrangement of the leaves allows for easier harvesting – almost resembling “one-cut” varieties.

SPECIAL VARIETAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Contact your area representative for a sowing guide
  • The dense rosette results in a lot of processable leaves – leading to a good overall yield potential
  • Don’t plant in times of frost and very high temperatures
