OUTSTANDING QUALITIES

  • EARLY MATURITY
  • VERY CYLINDRICAL AND WELL-ROUNDED ROOTS
  • EXCELLENT UNIFORMITY IN ROOT SHAPE AND SIZE
  • VERY HIGH YIELD WITH HIGH PRE-PACK PERCENTAGE
  • EXCELLENT EXTERNAL AND INTERNAL QUALITIES
  • EXCELLENT FIELD HOLDING ABILITY

Carvora is an early maturing, Nantes carrot hybrid with a high yield potential, suitable for all year round production. Carvora produces high quality, smooth, uniform and cylindrical roots with well rounded (blunt) tips. Carvora has a deep orange external and internal colour with a medium to small sized core. Carvora has a high bolting tolerance and is not prone to producing green shoulders. Carvora’s foliage is medium in height and a strong leaf attachment, making it ideal for hand and mechanical harvesting. Market uses of Carvora include bunching, processing and, due to its cylindrical shape and uniform size, it is a perfect carrot for pre-packing purposes.
