From 13 – 16 February, we hosted our much-anticipated Farmers’ Days event in Lanseria, Gauteng, South Africa. We are proud to say that it was an incredibly successful event, with about 700 attendees joining us.
At Sakata Seed Southern Africa, we organize these Farmers Days every two years. Our diverse audience included both large-scale and small-scale farmers, retailers, processors, seedling growers, students, and esteemed government officials. We were thrilled to welcome participants from across the SADC countries, as well.
The primary objective of this event is to showcase our renowned and dependable varieties, but most importantly our latest varieties developed and trailed in recent years. We take immense pride in announcing that this was our most significant Farmers Days event to date. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to each visitor whose presence contributed to its overwhelming success.
