Pacemaker III is a mid-maturing hybrid beet variety with dark red, top-shaped roots that are uniform in shape and size. Its uniformity allows for high yields making it a perfect variety for processing and fresh markets. It has medium-sized tap roots and medium-sized crowns. This variety has tall, glossy, medium-green tops that are strong and resist breaking from harvesting. Pacemaker III has intermediate resistance to Leaf spot (Cb) and Rhizoctonia root and crown rot (Rs).
