Incline is a cauliflower variety that has proven its worth in the field. Plants are very vigorous and healthy with a blue-green colour. The leaves are fairly thick and resist frost well. Incline produces large, crisp white curds with a high compact dome. Incline is a medium maturing variety with time to maturity being about 80 – 110 days after transplanting (depending on temperature) and has excellent field holding ability.
SPECIAL VARIETAL REQUIREMENTS
- Nitrogen levels are very important in cauliflower production – levels should be kept low when very small heads are produced, usually going into September
- We suggest sowing in May to February in cool Highveld areas and January to March in sub-tropical areas
