Carvora* is an early maturing, Nantes carrot hybrid with a high yield potential, suitable for year round production in temperate regions. Carvora* produces high quality, smooth, uniform and cylindrical roots with blunt tips. In addition to a sweet taste, Carvora* has a deep orange external and internal colour with a medium to small sized core. Carvora* has a high bolting tolerance and is not prone to producing green shoulders. Carvora’s* foliage is medium in height and is complemented with a strong leaf attachment, making it ideal for hand and mechanical harvesting. Uses for Carvora* include bunching, fresh market, processing and due to its cylindrical shape and size, it is a perfect carrot for pre-packing purposes.
