ALEXIS F1 HYBRID INDETERMINATE SALAD TOMATO

OUTSTANDING QUALITIES

  • UNIFORM GREEN SHOULDER
  • EXCELLENT FRUIT QUALITY
  • TOMATO SPOTTED WILT RESISTANCE
  • GOOD LEAF COVER
  • GOOD FRUIT SIZE AT THE END OF THE SEASON

Alexis is a new indeterminate salad tomato with very good fruit quality, uniform fruit size and very good vigour.  Alexis has high resistance to Verticillium wilt race 1 (Vd: 1), Fusarium wilt races 1 and 2 (Fol: 1 – 2), Tomato mosaic (ToMV) and Tomato spotted wilt (TSWV).  Alexis has a very good shelf life.  The strong vigour of plants tends to make it less susceptible to common leaf diseases under circumstances normally conducive to disease development.  Alexis can be grown under protection and in the open field due to its shorter internodes.  Good fruit size is achieved until the end of the season.

SPECIAL VARIETAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Alexis is sensitive to a high fertiliser regime especially nitrogen, correct any imbalances between elements
