Sakata together with Africa Rising Foundation and some partners are taking part in a Mandela Day initiative with the aim of distributing a million seed tins to communities within rural areas.

The project kicks off in Qunu village in the Eastern Cape on 14 July 2016 where 67 kids around the village will plant their own gardens at the former president Mr Nelson Mandela’s residence.  The other partners involved in this initiative are the Eastern Cape Department of Rural Development and Agrarian Reform and King Sabata Dalindyebo Local Municipality.
